I’ve done a few different christmas party looks for the festive season. The two most recent were glittery now this one is more of smokey cat eye look. Here is a step by step guide on how to get this look!
Step 2: Take a Shimmery Cream Shadow I used Mac Fluidline in Catch my eye and blended it over the lid. I love catch my eye its such a beautiful silvery colour with Taupe undertones. Its got a beautiful glittery sheen to it. Next add lashings of mascara to your top and bottom lashes. I would normally add falsh lashes to a look like this but i was in a bit of a rush doing this one.
Step 3: the liner. Personally i think eyeliner makes a look i never feel done up unless ive got a lick of liner on. I use a gel liner ( fluidline by mac in blacktrack) but if you find it easier to use a liquid liner there are so many good ones out there. I think of the different types of eyeliner as stepping stones its very easy to master once you build your confidence so start with a pen liner to get your cat eye if that is most comfortable then once you have that under your belt try a liquid liner and then once you feel happy with that try a gel liner start out with an angled brush and then after a while try your hand with a mac 210 or 209 its easy to get a hang of i promise.
start at the middle of the eye and draw your line out to wards the corner. Then decide where you want your flick once you’ve drawn in the bottom of the flick take your liner to the inner corner and join it to the middle point of your liner you can choose to get thicker if you wish. How you draw your liner really will change the shape of your eye. Finish off the flick by joining up the top of the flick point with the line. By drawing a straight line this will give you a really nice flick.
